Beth Sandbower Harbinson is the Executive Director of Children’s Scholarship Fund Baltimore and founder of Sobar. Beth is a Baltimore native who has worked primarily in non-profit management, fundraising and development.

Beth is committed to local efforts focused on reducing the stigma associated with alcoholism and addiction and providing greater access to treatment resources. In 2017, her project Sobar – a play on the words sober and bar – received funding from the Horizon Foundation and the United Way.

The mission of Sobar is to encourage choice in how we celebrate by providing healthy, sophisticated non-alcoholic beverages to consumers and offering alcohol-free bars and events. Beth was appointed by the Howard County Executive to sit on the county’s Opioid Community Crisis Council.
